1. Your choice
On your first visit we ask separately about analytics and advertising measurement. Both categories are off by default. You can decline the optional technologies without losing access to the site or the form. You can change your choice later with the "Privacy settings" button in the footer.
2. Essential technologies
- aerfield_consent in localStorage remembers the scope of your choice and its date.
- Cloudflare may use technical security mechanisms needed to protect the site and the form against abuse.
3. Analytics after consent
After analytics consent, Google Tag Manager may start Google Analytics. These tools may use identifiers such as _ga and _ga_* to distinguish visits and measure use of the site. Campaign parameters may be stored in localStorage as aerfield_attribution.
4. Advertising after consent
After advertising consent, Google Ads and Meta may process click and conversion identifiers. Depending on the configuration these may include, among others:
- _gcl_au and Google identifiers such as gclid, gbraid or wbraid,
- _fbp and _fbc used by Meta Pixel,
- UTM parameters and campaign identifiers stored in aerfield_attribution.
The "Lead" event is sent only once the form has been successfully saved. Meta Pixel and the Conversions API use the same event identifier so it is not counted twice.
5. Google Consent Mode
Before you make a choice, the states for analytics_storage, ad_storage, ad_user_data and ad_personalization are set to "denied". Once you save your choice we pass Google only the corresponding update. Consent Mode itself does not replace consent and does not turn on advertising tags after a refusal.
6. Withdrawing consent and browser settings
Consent can be withdrawn through "Privacy settings" in the footer. A new choice applies going forward. Existing cookies and localStorage entries can also be removed in your browser settings. Blocking essential technologies may affect the security of the site.
7. Providers
More information is in the providers' own documents: Google and Meta. The technologies actually used depend on the active campaign configuration and the consent given.
