For developments and construction sites
Drone construction monitoring: the same frame every month, so progress is visible rather than debated.
Photographs from the site manager's phone cannot be compared with one another: a different day, a different angle, different weather. Fixed shots from the same points give the investor and the supervisory board material in which the difference is visible at once - without an argument about how things looked a month ago.
Scope
Four products for one development.
Progress monitoring from fixed shots
The same points, the same height, the same frame, in a repeatable cycle. Comparative material between visits plus a short note on the changes visible from the air.
- a contract from 6 visits, because the value comes from the series, not from a single flight
- a schedule agreed in advance, with a weather window for every visit
The state of the site before construction
A documented state of the plot, the neighbourhood, the access roads and the greenery before heavy equipment arrives. The cheapest insurance in the whole process: it settles later disputes about how the area looked before the works.
Indicative orthophotomap
A composite bird's-eye image of the site, for operational orientation and communication. With no declared accuracy, because we have not validated it. A map for design purposes and an as-built inventory are survey products.
What it is and what it is not3D model for communication
A massing model of the development for presentations to investors and for sales material. For looking at and showing, not for measuring and settling accounts.
Scope and limits of the modelThe survey boundary
This is the line we do not cross.
Survey and mapping law reserves some products for people holding a licence. Aerfield does not have one and does not pretend to. The manufacturer of our equipment also does not guarantee the accuracy of the map product, so declaring one would be doubly dishonest.
There is, however, an arrangement that works and that we use: we fly the mission under the supervision of your land surveyor, to their specification, with their control points. They process and sign the result, we deliver the raw data and the mission log. You get a product with a signature, not a nice picture with no legal force.
Who delivers what
The Aerfield product alongside the land surveyor's.
| The need | Aerfield | Licensed land surveyor |
|---|---|---|
| Show progress to the investor and to clients | yes, fixed shots in a cycle | not needed |
| See the whole site in one image | yes, an indicative orthophotomap | not needed |
| Document the state before construction | yes, the baseline state of the site | not needed |
| A map for design purposes | no | yes, only they |
| An as-built inventory, plot boundaries | no | yes, only they |
| Stockpile volume for settling with a contractor | no | yes; we can fly the mission under their supervision |
| A result for a dispute, a handover or a court | no | yes, with a signature and professional liability |
Price
We quote the cycle as a whole, not per flight.
Monitoring in a cycle
A contract from 6 visits. The unit price falls with the number of visits, because a repeatable route and a ready mission plan cost less than the first flight.
A single assignment
The baseline state of the site, an orthophotomap or a 3D model as a one-off assignment: the starting point is from 2,200 PLN net (working floor), quoted by scope; the amount depends on the size of the site and the access requirements.
A flight for a land surveyor
Settled per field day to the specification of the party commissioning it. Processing and responsibility for the result remain with them.
Travel to the site is counted the same as everywhere else: up to 30 km included, beyond that according to the table in the price list. For a cycle we settle it once, at the start of the contract, not at every visit.
Check Feasibility
Describe the development - we will propose a cycle and the shot points.
A reply within 1 business day. For monitoring we agree the schedule and the points before the first flight, so that every subsequent visit gives a comparable frame.
